Customer information: The new EU regulation with new ecodesign requirements for fans will apply from July 24, 2026.
For fans that are integrated into other products, such as duct fans, a transition period until July 24, 2027 applies under certain conditions.

In a new and stricter minimum efficiency regulation for fans, more stringent efficiency requirements will apply from July 24, 2026. These apply to the entire system (motor, aerodynamics, and attachments) with electrical input powers from 125 watts (W) to 500 kilowatts (kW). We are well prepared for this challenge and are able to supply ECblue and AC fans that meet all the requirements of the previous ErP Directive 2015 (EU 327/2011) and future efficiency regulations. This will further strengthen our competitiveness in the industry and enable us to offer our customers the best solution.
